Your independence

Yours. From day one to the last.

A shop hosted by someone else raises a simple question: what happens the day you want to leave? Here is our answer, point by point, as written in our terms.

Your domain, in your name.

The domain name is registered in your name, not ours. We manage it for you while you are a client: settings, certificate, email records, which we never touch at switchover.

The day you leave, we help you transfer it, free of charge and without delay. An address your customers know is not up for negotiation.

Your payment account, in your name.

Payments go through Mollie, on an account opened in your name. Money goes from your customer to your bank without passing through us, at Mollie’s public rates.

We take no commission on your sales. Mollie pays us a partner commission out of its own margin: it does not change what you pay. The details are on the pricing page.

Your data, exportable any time.

Products, variants, customers, orders, copy, photos: a full export in open formats, on request, without having to cancel, delivered within 5 business days.

You can also export what you need day to day yourself, from your dashboard: your catalogue, your customer list, your orders.

Hosted in the European Union.

Your shop runs on redundant European infrastructure, on an instance shared with no other shop: its database, its photos and its customers are its own.

Backups every night, kept for thirty days. Continuous monitoring: we know before you do, and you are told what happened.

Never sold, never cross-referenced.

Your customer list serves your shop and nothing else. No resale, no model training, no cross-referencing with other shops. We are the processor, you remain the controller, and our privacy policy says so in black and white.

Leaving is simple.

One month’s notice outside any commitment, by email, no reason required. We deliver the full export, we transfer the domain, and your shop stays online until the last day.

A shop you cannot leave is a shop you should not join. It is also what sets Opustack apart from Wix, which does not export a site, and from Shopify, which adds fees if you keep your own payment provider.
