Two different things
Wix
is a website builder with a shop built in. You drag, you drop, you publish. Everything sits in one subscription, hosting included. It is simple, and it is closed: what Wix does not do, nobody can do for you.
Opustack
is operated commerce infrastructure. The shop is built for you, on a platform made for selling, hosted in Europe, maintained and monitored by us. It is not a tool you learn; it is a team that runs your shop.
What it costs over a year
A Belgian shop with 300 products, 100 orders a month, in French and Dutch.
Wix, on your own

Wix is cheaper in money. Opustack is cheaper in time, and it sells better. The question is which of the two you are short of.
When Wix is enough
- You are starting out, you have fewer than fifty products, and you want to test an idea before investing.
- You like doing things yourself, and you have the time.
- The shop is a side activity, not your main revenue.
- You sell in one language.
When Opustack makes more sense
- The shop has become a real source of revenue, and its slowness or its limits are starting to show in sales.
- You sell in two languages and Wix makes you do the work twice.
- You want cart reminders, newsletter and reviews inside the shop, not in three apps.
- You want your shop on a domain in your name, with data you can take with you.
- You would rather someone else took care of it.
What Wix does not tell you
Leaving. Wix does not let you export a shop. Products and customers export, partly; pages, design and content do not. The day you want to leave, you start from scratch on everything that is not the catalogue.
The shop’s limits. Multi-currency, languages, product options, shipping rules: each exists, with a ceiling, and the ceiling comes quickly once you sell for real.
Coming from Wix?
We bring over your products, your customers and, as far as Wix exports it, your history. Redirects are put in place so your old addresses keep sending visitors to the right pages. Migration is included in the setup, and your Wix shop stays online until you sign off.
